The NaNoWriMo 2012 aftermath

January 03, 2013 1 minute read

🕰 Feeling nostalgic? This is a post from 2013, which means I was still a student during this time. Most of my posts from this timeframe are related to school or the fiction I was writing. These might not mean much to you.

The Aftermath is what I call the situation I’m currently in. I finished NaNoWriMo in November, and it’s January already and I don’t have any time to finish the book. It’s a classic case – when I finished NaNo I was sure I had a finished book on my hands but as I look back all I see is a train-wreck, ending at the fifteenth chapter. From there on out, there’s chapters missing. Chapters I haven’t written yet, chapters beyond that 50k mark. In reality, I’ve got about thirty chapters in my NaNo manuscript, but somewhere in the middle there’s some information that seems to have gone missing.
